1. What
is life like on the Pro Tour?
1. Life on the
Pro Tour is not as great as it looks. It is hard and it takes a lot of time and devotion in order to end up on the television
show. It is very frustrating at times to suceed and it feels great when things come together. After your block is done and
your frustration has subsided you realize that you play a game for a living and its not so bad.
2.
If you had to pick someone to bowl against in the final match, who would you pick and why.
2. I would pick a Quadrapeligic
to bowl against in the title match. I will take that first title as easy as I can. I'm not picky.
3.
What went through your mind when you first realized you made the show?
3. I was relieved that I finally made
the TV finals. It was an exciting time for me.
4.
How difficult is it to be a Professional Bowler? 4. Being a professional bowler is very draining mentally. The format
is one that hurts because you will also lose to be eliminated. In a golf tournament you may just run out of holes but in a
PBA event you will always lose a match to be eliminated and that is the hard to deal with most times.
Who
do you thin will win PBA Player of the Year? 5. Tommy Jones
If
you had to invite 3 people to dinner dead or alive, who would they be and why? 6. Larry Silverstein, George W. and
Donald Rumsfeld. I need to know the truth about 9-11.
What
advice do you have for us younger bowlers wanting to go out on the tour?
7. I would tell
those young people to practice hard and try to find people with the most knowledge about the sport as possible and pick their
brains. There are so many techinal aspects to learn about (balls, lanes, oil patterns), that you can never stop learning and
applying. After all our sport is all about trial and error.
